2008-09 SEASON ROUND UP City of Derry 1st XV maintained their unbeaten run in all Ulster competitions finishing off with a flourish to win the Junior Cup for the first time since 1948
Added to the Kukri Qualifying League and the Powerade Towns Cup, won earlier, it was an impressive haul of silverware for the season.

VOLUNTEERS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED FOR CLUB & COMMITTEE POSTS NEXT SEASON.
We already have a fantastic commitment especially from some of our younger members and players who do a great job coaching the mini's and Youth Squads but we still need members to come forward and fill some of the very important Committee posts.
Have a look at page 7 of your club handbook and see how you could contribute. Don't sit back and leave the running of the club to others.

MEMBERSHIP FEES:
There are still players turning out for teams and enjoying the facilities of the club who have not paid a penny of their membership fees.
It costs the club £1,800 alone in insurance premiums for each adult team. Thats the equivelent of about £80 for each member of a twenty two man squad.
Its time you stumped up. Contact the Hon. Treasurer or your Team Captain and make arrangements to pay something, if not all of your fees now before the end of the season.
