Club Development.
The Club is undergoing a process of change. A re-organisation of the management structure of the club has already taken place and there will be an ongoing process of development over the next few years to revitalise all aspects of the game and the club generally, including; strengthening the player base, facilities development, commercial marketing, and, developing a financial Strategy to bring it all about.
Our next stage will be to create a three to five year Strategic Plan. A sub - Committee is currently being set up which will consult with members and stake holders to identify Goals, Objectives and strategies. We hope to have a debate on the proposed strategic direction prior to the production of the Strategic Plan. Stage 2 will be to implement the Plan, following the strategic direction and vision as laid out.
Specific goals will be established, using key indicators to mark progress. An example of a goal might be for CDRFC to be ranked in the top four clubs in Ulster. Key indicators of our progress could be a consistent top four place in the Ulster League, or, reaching the semi final of the Ulster cup , whilst targeting winning the final within five years. Another Goal may be to regain Div. II status in the AIL within a specified time frame.
